According to Bucegi Natural Park authorities, the inauguration could be in April 2018, with the extraordinary participation of several Michael Jackson imitators in Prahova County, as well as representatives of Guinness Book of Records, who would confirm that the Carpathian Mountains host the largest transformed, into Michael Jackson, sphinx worldwide.

"Anyway, this is clear: if it had a body, Michael Jackson from Bucegi would be the highest statue of a musician ever built on the territory of Romania, exceeding more than 7 meters the statue of Liviu Vasilica from Alexandria", told us local authorities .

He started his artistic activity as a soloist of folk music even during the period of his studies (Medicine, 1974-1980), ranking Nr. 1 in all the national stages of Student Art Festivals, for the originality of his repertoire and the style of interpretation. 

He debuted on TV Thesaur, the old national TV station TVR1. 

He made his first recordings at the Constantin Brăiloiu Institute of Ethnography and Folklore.

The passion for folklore led him to collect authentic teleorman folk costumes, realizing, in only a few years, a rich collection that is currently in the patrimony of the Burnasul Ensemble of Songs and Dances in Alexandria ....

Liviu Vasilica was born on the second day of July 1950, in Plosca, Teleorman County. 

His parents were intellectuals, his father a schoolmaster and his mother a teacher. 

The little child was fascinated by Maria Tanase, whom he listened carefully on radio. 

The Master learned the first songs from a teleorman rocket named Gogu Ivascu. 

The parents' dream for their son, Liviu , was to become a pharmacist, which has happened.   

For a while Liviu Vasilica was also a pediatrician at the Alexandria County Hospital. 

Those who knew him said he loved the children very much, and he was very gentle with them.

He was married to Florina Vasilica for 23 years and together they had four children: Svetlana Vasilica, Valentin Vasilica, Florin Vasilica and Livia Vasilica. 

Of all the Master's children, only Florin is the one who leads the legacy of his father, being the leader of the 'Teleorman folk group'.
