My stroll in Ménilmontant concluded with the discovery of the ***Church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix***.

Upon arrival, the imposing architecture of the church struck me, especially the monumental staircase of 54 steps (*great for the calves!* 😄) leading to the main entrance. Inside, I was dazzled by the splendor of the nave, with its high vaults and preserved neo-Gothic ornaments. I also had the opportunity to admire the superb Cavaillé-Coll organ, a musical masterpiece.

The tranquility and gravity of the church enveloped me in a profound sense of peace and meditation. The historical and religious richness of the place, as well as its role within the local community, deeply moved me.

In summary, visiting the Church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix was an enriching experience that combined architectural exploration, artistic enchantment, and spiritual introspection.

Ma balade à Ménilmontant s'est conclue par la découverte de l'église ***Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix***.

Dès mon arrivée, l'architecture imposante de l'église m'a frappé, en particulier l'escalier monumental de 54 marches (*excellent pour les mollets !* 😄) qui conduit à l'entrée principale. L'intérieur m'a ébloui par la splendeur de la nef, avec ses voûtes hautes et ses ornements néo-gothiques préservés. J'ai aussi pu contempler le superbe orgue de Cavaillé-Coll, un chef-d'œuvre musical.

La quiétude et la gravité de l'église m'ont enveloppé d'une profonde paix et d'un moment de méditation. La richesse historique et religieuse du lieu, ainsi que son rôle au sein de la communauté locale, m'ont profondément ému.

En résumé, visiter l'église Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix fut une expérience enrichissante qui a allié exploration architecturale, enchantement artistique et introspection spirituelle.
