After the magnificent chandeliers seen in the previous post, we now find ourselves in front of a monumental carpet listed in the Guinness World Records book. Indeed, the main prayer hall houses the world's largest hand-knotted carpet. Its design reflects a complex Islamic medallion and was hand-knotted by approximately 1,200 artisans. This immense labor spanned approximately two years.

This monumental carpet, composed of approximately 70% wool and 30% wool and cotton, measures 5,400 square meters and weighs a whopping 35 tonnes. One word: impressive!

Après les magnifiques lustres vus lors du post précédent, nous voici maintenant devant un tapis monumental inscrit au livre ***Guiness World Records***.
En effet, la salle de prière principale abrite le plus grand tapis noué à la main au monde. Son design reflète un médaillon islamique complexe et a été noué à la main par environ 1.200 artisans. Cet immense labeur s'est étalé sur environ deux ans. 

Ce tapis monumental, composé d'environ 70 % de laine et 30 % de laine et de coton, mesure 5.400 mètres carrés et pèse la bagatelle de 35 tonnes. 
Un seul mot : impressionnant !
