It’s 5 am on a Saturday morning. The clouds were all over the skies. And the sun has yet to rise. I sat by the pavement of the orphanage, waiting. It seems like forever for me. Sister Nancy said that she’ll be back soon with a big surprise for me. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve been here for over a month and all hopes were beginning to deminished. > I moved into the orphanage 6 months ago when my parents were questioned by the local authority for neglecting both my eldest sister, Jane & myself. They were out to get some quick dinner & had promised to return soon. Before we knew it, cops came rushing down our doorstep & grabbing both my sister & I. We cried & yelled for help but no one came to our rescue. Our parents were detained & questioned repeatedly on their irresponsibility towards us. I still remembered that night as if it had just happened. Jane & I were separated after 1 week of being brought into St Jules Orphanage. No one cared for us except for Sister Nancy. She prayed with me all the time. Said that God is always looking out for us, we just need to have faith in Him. *Peter !! Come see who’s here.* I looked up and saw Sister Nancy. Behind her was my parents & Jane walking towards me smiling. Tears of joy came rolling down my cheeks. God have been listening to my prayers... Thank the Lord for answering them. But then, I saw 2 police officers standing behind my parents, grabbing them & Jane once again. They were being pulled away from me... further & further away... I shouted at the police officers as loud as I can... but it was too late. They didn’t seemed to be able to hear me. ### *Tears of fear & sadness came over me. I looked around.
