The three most meaningful greetings I learned so far:
## Hello dear Steemians:

We greet each other on a daily basis, until our words lost all their meaning. We became accustomed to shouting salutes here and there, and failed to convey our feelings through words.

Today, I want to share with you guys three of the greetings that I think have a deep meaning to them.

### Assalamu Alaikum: السلام عليكم

Used by Muslims to greet each other, and literally means: Peace be upon you. This greeting brings tranquility and reassures the other party that you are not here to harm them.

 ### Namaste: नमस्ते

A greeting used by the Hindu community, and literally means “I bow to you.” This greeting is usually said with a slight bow of the head and hands pressed together.

### Azul: ⴰⵣⵓⵍ

Used by the Amazigh community (in Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, northern Mali and Niger). If we break this word we’ll have: ‘Az’ (come closer or be close), ‘I’ (to), ‘ul’ (heart). Anyone will be happy if he\she was told “be close to my heart”.

These are the greetings that I know to have a deep meaning. If you know more meaningful greetings, feel free to share them with me in the comment section down below.
