Gambar ini adalah jamur yang tumbuh pada kayu lapuk. Jamur ini masuk ke dalam famili Ganodermataceae.
Seperti yang diketahui jamur jenis Ganoderma digolongkan sebagai jamur sejati. Jamur jenis ini sudah dipelajari sejak lama oleh ilmuwan karena memiliki sifat menguntungkan sebagai bahan obat-obatan untuk menyembuhkan berbagai macam penyakit. Namun jamur ini juga memiliki sifat yang merugikan karena mampu tumbuh di pangkal tanaman produksi (seperti : kelapa sawit) sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya pembusukan akar tanaman.

This image is a fungus that grows on decayed wood. This fungus is classified into the family Ganodermataceae.
As is known Ganoderma type fungus included as a true mushroom. This type of fungus has been studied for a long time by scientists because it has a beneficial properties as a medicine to cure various diseases. But this fungus also has the disadvantageous properties of being able to grow at the bottom of the stem of the production plant (ex: palm oil), causing the decay of plant roots.
