[Grateful Vibes #44] I'm Grateful for My Dad's Experience
![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmRu7gDVYzSfRsNbgEmkDNG1RnEnRUaBxeZULqGj3pCgLQ/image.png)*My dad is the one with the cool hat.*

I'm grateful for my dad's experience.

Today we went to a client's shop to help them with some fittings for a tank we sold them. It was my tank sale, but when the problem came up, my dad stepped in and helped them out at no cost.

*I always marvel at the level of expertise that my dad has when it comes to tanks and fittings.*

My dad has been in the tank and lining business for over 30 years. I've been working with him for three years now and I'm just now beginning to understand the business.

I enjoy working with my dad, especially when we make calls together. Watching him solve problems and offer solutions always impresses me, I'm sure it impresses others too.

Having a good name.

If there is one thing I've learned over the last three years, is the good name that my dad has among very intelligent and successful businessmen and engineers. There is always a reputation that follows after a name and I've discovered that when my dad's name is mentioned, people immediately think of his generosity, kindness, ability and expertise.

>A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold. Proverbs 22:1

Coming in the name of my father.

I'm discovering that I carry the name of my father. When my dad introduces me, people look at me differently than if I were meeting by myself. When they find out who my father is, they treat me just a little differently.

There are however those who, for whatever reason, take issue with my father. The same applies with me, his son. I come in his name, if they take issue with my dad, they take issue with me.

The Name of the Most High

*Yeshua came in the Name of His Father, but he was despised and rejected by men, because they rejected the Most High.*

>Finally, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said. Matthew 21:37

>I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. John 5:43

May we never reject the Most High or His Righteousness. May we all say to our coming king:

>**Blessed is He who comes in the Name of YHVH, even the king of Israel! John 12:13**
