There are 2 varieties of the most cultivated of arabica coffee (75%) and robusta coffee (20%). That's the most widely circulated and most loved variety in the world. In every robusta coffee bean contains 1.7-4% caffeine, and for Arabica beans contain 0.8-1.4% caffeine. Robusta coffee thrives in areas that have warm temperatures at an altitude of about 300-1500 meters above sea level at temperatures of 21-24 * C, whereas for arabica coffee will grow in places with colder temperatures of about 1250-1850 meters above the surface sea at a temperature of 17-21 * C. Ada 2 varietas yang paling banyak di budidayakan yaitu kopi arabika (75%) dan kopi robusta (20%). Itulah jenis kopi yang paling banyak beredar dan paling di gemari di seluruh dunia. Di setiap biji kopi robusta mengandung 1,7-4% kafein, dan untuk biji kopi arabika mengandung 0,8-1,4% kafein. Kopi robusta tumbuh subur di daerah yang mempunyai temperatur hangat di ketinggian sekitar 300-1500 mdpl di suhu 21-24*C, sedangkan untuk kopi arabika akan tumbuh di tempat yang mempunyai temperatur lebih dingin sekitar 1250-1850 mdpl di suhu 17-21*C. Tumbuhan kopi umumnya ditanam dengan jarak 2 meter antara pohon. Tingginya bisa mencapai sekitar 2- 10 meter, dan tanaman kopi membutuhkan sinar matahari yang banyak ketika akan berbuah.
