# Hello, nice to meet you!

So... a few hours ago I got my account approved! I thought of no better way to start this exiting adventure than throwing myself straight into the party! Here we go!

My name is Simon and I decided to go by the name @IslanderMan from now on. And guess what..I live on an island (kinda gave me the inspiration XD). I'm a 29 year old entrepreneur building a future on a pretty small island in the Turku archipelago, southern Finland.

I'm a gamer, musician, composer, actor with a bachelor's degree in arts, who jumped on a completely different path a few years ago. Since then my main focus has been building a company together with a good friend of mine. 
Nowadays we run a popular guest harbor for tourist boats in a traditional Finnish archipelago environment. We also do traditional net fishing, baking, cultural events, adventure activities and much more. The way we do stuff around here has developed into a lifestyle and that is probably gonna be one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to posting in this community.

# What I plan to share in the near future

### Life on the island
It's pretty natural for me to speak about the lifestyle on a island with only 5 inhabitants, chicken and sheep, so this is not the last thing you'll hear about that...

### Music
Music has been a big part of my life since childhood. I hope I'm gonna be able to share some of my music through live streams or recordings. This way I also hope I can get a lot of judges with constructive criticism for future work.

### Acting
At the moment I'm working as an actor in a new action movie and that's something I'd like to share with you guys! Maybe even throw in links to one or two old short films at some point :)

### Gaming
Life on an island can sometimes be a bit silent and lonely (Finnish winter for example ;) ) but I compensate all that by connecting to friends around the world through online gaming! I've been streaming on Twitch for a while but now I want to open it up to you!
