**Hello Hive Learners Community!!** Eid is an important religious festival of Muslim Ummah. **Eid Al Fitar** is celebrated on the very first day after **Ramadan** and the celebrations continue for three continuous days. There are some customary practices to give eid presents and forgive and greet all. In today's blog I am going to share with you some ritual and practices of Eid day through memes.

Eid is celebrated on 1st day of Islamic month **Shawal**. Islamic month starts according to lunar calendar. It is customary practice that **Halal Committee** organize their session on 29 and 30 day of **Ramadan** to view lunar and make official announcement about eid festive celebration. This is period full of excitement and joy to know when eid celebration will be announced. Two years ago, we were expecting 30 fast in **Ramadan** but at 11 O'clock  Eid was being announced and everyone ran to complete their preparations in night.

It is custom to present eid gift and Eidi (money) to children, sisters and daughters. I used to get eidi from everyone in my childhood. This Eid festive when I ask **Eidi** from my parents they respond, **"You are grown up now and it's your time to give eidi to others"**. Actually they wanted me to learn and start practicing this custom early. I feel happy but deep down I was regretting for growing up and mission Eidi in my pocket.

Girls are more conscious about their Eid looks than boys. They start doing makeup at **7 O'clock** and their whole day spend in doing  so. While boys only take bath get dressed and in fast sleep after Eid prayer. Mostly Eid day is spent with family at home that means no outing on the first day of Eid. That's why majority of boys sleep like dead.

Forgiveness is an important moral virtue in Islam. On Eid day one have to practice forgiveness and forgive others. It's a day show love and affection. We need to cherish relationship and forget our clashes and differences. A warm hug and eid greetings with smile on face are enough to rebuild your relationships.

To say **Eid Mubarak** to friends and relatives on calls and texts is common on festive. I'm a shy boy and I don't much talk to relatives on calls. While my mother had been asking me to greet my relatives after every hours. That spoiled my mood but I couldn't refuse.
