I gave a very brief intro about the ItsFoto platform on my previous post [A new beginning combining photography and cryptocurrency](https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@itsfoto/a-new-beginning-combining-photography-and-cryptocurrency). Now lets take the discussion bit further exploring the many possibilities the image upoaders get.

## Anonymity and privacy

All image uploaders remain anonymous while uploading their images on the website. We do not track any user's personal or non personal information. We don't track the user's country, ip address, operating system, browser etc. This makes sure the identity of users, image uploaders, downloaders and visitors remain completely hidden and safe.

## Reward for uploading image

The image uploaders get reward for uploading the images if the image gets accepted by the platform (no downloads or views required). How the image gets accepted is discussed later in this blog. This reward will be payable in FotoCoin, a cryptocurrency made to power the ItsFoto platform. The reward varies vastly on the number of images uploaded to the platform. Reward for uploading the images is distributed in two phase, the first phase being a competition in uploading the good quality images where the top 50 uploaders will be selected for earning huge rewards for their good work, and the next phase of reward is payable on a per image basis. The current earning is shown in the table below for the first phase only:

## Image Sources

As a rule of originality we do no accept images that are sourced from other image hosting websites or sources. All the similar platforms have their own licence terms and their content should not be used in a way that violates their policy and terms. We accept only original content uploaded by the users. These images must be taken by the uploaders themselves using their own camera or phone.

## Image moderation

To avoid spam attempts and violation of our terms, we have added a security layer of manual checking the image after uploading by the user. That means all images that are uploaded will be moderated before publishing to the platform. If the content is found to be good quality and original only then it is published. All copied images and platform abuse is avoided in this case.

## Content removal Policy

If any content slips the moderation, there is always a way to avoid abuse of other people's contents by removing it from the platform. Please use the contact form in the website for removal of any content that is in violation of policy of any website or an infringement to their rights.
