In my opinion it would be completely impossible to create something like this before the blockchain. The movie "Ready Player One" is an example of how such a thing could work but the movie doesn't really go into the technology. It only shows how the user gets into virtual reality. I tell you how this could work from my imagination with my previous knowledge about crypto currencies and the block chain. The user buys the game to play the game with the software. Through the server of the game manufacturer and the console company, users can play against each other on cards that my download has to be. Actually you play through the internet on the server and not on the console. The console is just the device that visualizes everything.<br> <br> The way online playing is today was impossible 20 years ago. The next step would be to play across consoles, like it works at Fortnite. </p> <center> <h2> Virtual reality with a crypto currency & blockchain </h2> <h6> Let's just call our fictional coin Game (GME). There are proof of work, proof of stack etc. in the blockchain technology. In this fiction we call it Proof of Level. No matter what you buy there you pay with GME. This has the advantage that other companies can also develop upgrades or etc. and the users then pay the companies with the GME Coin.<br> <br> The user himself has 2 wallets. One is the game wallet and the other is the property wallet. So the user can always take only what he needs or can keep his profit from the virtual world safe. So that the world is realistic it should be possible to steal from other users by killing them. Every user has of course the possibility to secure his assets in the world by going to a place where he can take his earned coins out of his game wallet. That means that the software for playing is on the blockchain. If a user wants to log in with his VR glasses, he logs into the blockchain and enters the world. Just imagine that there are 100,000 nodes on which the virtual world is completely stored, with a network of 5G or higher everything would be possible without any problems.<br> <br> <blockquote>What I am telling you here is only fiction and can be better implemented by developers than my theory. Some things may not make sense but it is just a vision or an idea.</blockquote> <br> Of course there shouldn't be only one world but several and every other world would be a sidechain. Each sidechain has its own level system and has nothing to do with the mainchain. It would be stupid if you enter with level 50 Minecraft to Fortnite also with level 50. Each sidechain has its own coin and its own infrastructure. The Coin GME is the universal currency on all chains. </p> </center> <hr> <center> <h2> <hr> Closure: </h2> <p> My vision may not be insightful, but it's also my idea, not some billion-dollar company. I imagine it would be natural to have a few basic things different. But with the Blockchain we can expect a VR playable world for the next 25 years. I say 25 years on purpose because I cannot estimate how fast the development will go. Bitcoin & Blockchain have taken 10 years until now and only now are new applications slowly emerging.<br> <br> I am curious what the next 10 years will bring. The focus is on AR, crypto currencies, Bitcoin, Blockchain, 5G Internet, self propelled cars, electric cars, Space X etc.<br> <br> Thanks for reading.
