## Hive is a risk?

Good evening Hivers!

Today I have been pondering a personal reflection; I don't know if you ever think for hours during the day and have a thousand mental movies and/or dreams.

Well, that's exactly what happened to me today.

I was thinking and rethinking about Hive, about the future, about what could happen.

We all daydream when we think about our future here on Hive. Wallets skyrocketing, the possibility of living on curation, simple profit. These are dreams, it's true. But dreams, to come true, need a foundation. They need to have a stable foundation that needs building.

When I speak of a stable foundation I obviously mean building a worthy wallet through our blogging activity, or through investments. 

Being a student and working part-time occasionally, I do not have the opportunity to invest real money in web projects (including Hive).

I therefore limit myself to blogging, and I must say that I really enjoy this activity.

But have you ever wondered what we are really doing?

We are ***risking***. Yes, ***risking***.

What do you mean we're risking?

First of all, let's start with the fact that we are investing time in this platform, our time. Clearly we are talking about free time, i.e. time that we do not normally spend on paid activities. Already starting from this assumption we could say that we are risking. We are risking our time, a part of our life that we could spend doing anything else.

Clearly not all of our free time is dedicated to Hive, but only a part. I for one do not limit going out, the gym and the whole playful and non-playful part of life.

However, it is a risk we know we are taking. Why a risk?

Well, if our impressions of Hive and our dreams about its future turn out to be wrong, then we have thrown away part of our free time.

However, we do it with pleasure.

I myself have limited the time I used to spend on traditional social media by a lot.

I post almost nothing and almost never on traditional social. Instead, I post a lot here on Hive. This is because first and foremost I enjoy sharing a daily blog, but also because (it is inevitable) I like to think that my content should be remunerated. Remuneration that here on Hive is by no means taken for granted: the better our content, the better the rewards.

So we could perhaps say that rather than traditional social media users, here on Hive we are all content creators who try to earn something from their content.

## Conclusion

We are risking our free time, we are risking not seeing our dreams come true. Yet we are all here supporting this wonderful ecosystem that gives us great satisfaction and that we all hope will give us immense satisfaction in the future.

We are building our future at the risk of seeing the value of $Hive and the crypto world in general plummet. Yet here we are, day after day.

We are dreamers who like to take risks.

## Hive è un rischio?

Buonasera Hivers!

Nella giornata di oggi mi sono soffermato su una riflessione personale; Non so se vi capita mai di pensare per ore durante la giornata e farvi mille film e/o sogni mentali.

Ecco, oggi mi è successo proprio questo.

Pensavo e ripensavo ad Hive, al futuro, a cosa potrebbe accadere.

Tutti noi sogniamo ad occhi aperti quando pensiamo al nostro futuro qui su Hive. Wallet che vanno alle stelle, possibilità di vivere di curation, semplice profitto. Sono sogni, è vero. Ma i sogni, per realizzarsi, hanno bisogno di una base. Hanno bisogno di avere delle fondamenta stabili che necessitano una costruzione.

Quando parlo di fondamenta stabili intendo ovviamente la costruzione di un wallet degno di nota attraverso la nostra attività di blogging, oppure attraverso investimenti. 

Essendo io uno studente e lavorando saltuariamente part-time, non ho la possibilità di investire soldi reali in progetti del web ( tra cui appunto Hive).

Mi limito perciò a bloggare, e devo dire che questa attività mi piace parecchio.

Ma vi siete mai chiesti cosa stiamo veramente facendo?

Stiamo ***rischiando***. Si, ***rischiando***.

Cosa vuol dire che stiamo rischiando?

Innanzitutto partiamo dal fatto che stiamo investendo del tempo in questa piattaforma, il nostro tempo. Chiaramente stiamo parlando di tempo libero, quindi del tempo che non impieghiamo normalmente per svolgere attività retribuite. Già partendo da questo assunto potremmo dire di star rischiando. Stiamo rischiando il nostro tempo, parte della nostra vita che potremmo impiegare per fare qualsiasi altra cosa.

Chiaramente non tutto il nostro tempo libero viene dedicato ad Hive, ma solo una parte. Io in primis non limito le uscite, la palestra e tutta la parte ludica e non della vita.

Tuttavia è un rischio a cui sappiamo di andare in contro. Perchè un rischio?

Beh, se le nostre impressioni su Hive e i nostri sogni sul suo futuro si rivelassero sbagliati, allora avremmo buttato parte del nostro tempo libero.

Tuttavia, però, lo facciamo con piacere.

Io stesso ho limitato di molto, e da tanto, il tempo che prima passavo sui social tradizionali.

Non posto quasi nulla e quasi mai sui social tradizionali. Posto invece moltissime cose qui su Hive. Questo perchè innanzitutto mi fa piacere condividere un blog giornaliero, ma anche perchè ( è inevitabile) mi piace pensare che i miei contenuti debbano essere retribuiti. Retribuzione che qui su Hive non è assolutamente data per scontata: migliori sono i nostri contenuti e migliori saranno le ricompense.

Quindi potremmo forse dire che piuttosto che utenti di social media tradizionali, qui su Hive siamo tutti dei content creator che provano a guadagnare qualcosa dai loro contenuti.

## Conclusioni

Stiamo rischiando il nostro tempo libero, stiamo rischiando di non vedere i nostri sogni esaudirsi. Eppure siamo tutti qui a sostenere questo splendido ecosistema che ci da grandi soddisfazioni e che in futuro noi tutti speriamo possa darci soddisfazioni immense.

Stiamo costruendo il nostro futuro rischiando di veder crollare a picco il valore di $Hive e del mondo crypto in generale. Eppure siamo qui, giorno dopo giorno.

Siamo sognatori a cui piace rischiare.
