Talking about baggie.
I have no idea what it was initially. 
What first came to mind is the "baggy" clothes. 
Of course, that word is mentioned in the song "Sk8er Boi" by Avril Lavigne.
Then I found out it is a bag with plastic where you can store foods. 
That was pretty common in our place. 
It can also be the popular "Ziplock".
I use that often when I am going to put and store some candies on it. 
I also use it for sandwiches. 
Of course, it can be used for other stuff other than foods. 
I actually used it to put my food to protect from the flood waters. 
I used it to keep my necessary stuff when traveling. 
See, the baggie or ziplock has lots of uses. 
It might not be as cheap compared to other plastics, but it's great for universal usage.
