Ariane has planned going back to the Philippines to attend family reunion. It is a perfect moment to escape the extreme winter in her place in Canada, because the season depresses her. Cold front affects the Philippines too during winter in northern hemisphere, but the temperature is just fine if you came from snowy places. Besides, sun shines even December or January in tropical places. 

As she reached the airport in the Philippines, she was welcomed back by her family with their welcome placards waved like protesters. Ariane missed such warm in her own country, and hugged everyone. 

On her first week in the country, she attended a wedding of her cousin, which she was chosen as the witness. The following week, she attended the family reunion which included her cousins. The third week, she went to Baguio City with her family for a vacation. 

On the fourth week, she has to prepare because she'll be coming back to Canada that same week. She was brought to the airport by her family, and the scenario is the complete opposite when she arrived in the country. Hugged everyone before she checks in. 

Going back to Canada is depressing for Ariane because of her distance from her family. Besides, she will get there with the snow, and has to bear with the cold weather. She's not feeling quite well the time. When she arrived in the airport, the authority imposed a quarantine on her because of fever and colds. Thus, she was among those with suspected cases of CoVid 19. 

It was on the news that a new suspected case of CoVid 19 came from the Philippines, and some people in social media are panicking. Some are able to track Ariane in social media, and spread her face, along with her family. The government already reached out to the family, and everyone who attended the wedding and family reunion where Ariane was present. 

People in the the neighborhood are scared to pass outside the house of Ariane's family, and are scrutinized. The family are scared to go out, and if ever they wear masks so they won't be recognized. 

Back in Canada, Ariane was finally cleared of CoVid 19. The result is negative, and Ariane was happy, but sad at the same time because of the scrutiny she received in social media. Her family in the Philippines are relieved but the pain caused by people around them remained. In times like this, it's better to pray for the victims instead of hating them.
