Leaves are falling from the gnarled trees. 
Feels like not too long ago, 
leaves sprouted from the branches, 
and flowers bloomed. 
Still waiting as I sit on the bench 
where we used to meet. 
Whether it's sunny or cloudy. 
We laughed, and eat. 
Funny stories to make everyone laugh. 
Listening to music. 
Playing the guitar. 
Singing along with the tune. 

Where did the time go? 
Time is moving at a pace
that we almost didn't notice. 
Years passed, and so many changes. 
New friends came. 
Moments we don't see each other. 
Promises is what I'm holding in to. 
If ever you still keep that promise. 

Do you still remember those days? 
Reminisce on the good old days
that we shared? 
Time machine won't take us back there. 
Memories can bring us back. 
Yeah, the happy memories.
