Giselle and Shawn were bestfriends after working together in several projects. Both of them were successful in financial aspect. Time came they fell in love with each other. Giselle is reluctant at first because of her first heartbreak, but she found Shawn deserving of her love so she gave him a chance. 

They became lovers, but hid their relationship from some people who might be negative about them. Eventually, they got married away from the eyes of anyone around them, with only close friends and families invited and present in the wedding. 

They first few years looks so perfect. Both of them still got to work together. Eventually, Giselle became pregnant, and gave birth with Ivana. They have a perfect family. People became very happy on how their family is going. 

But things aren't perfect. One night, Giselle slapped Shawn multiple times after finding out of something. Unsure why his wife is freaking out, then Giselle told him she knows Shawn is seeing another woman. Then she had shown her the photo of Shawn and another woman, Vicky. 

The woman works on Shawn's company, and fell in love Vicky. They dated, and met a lot of times. Giselle's sister Soledad is walking in the mall, and was mad on what she saw. She tried to confront Shawn but her friends, whom she's with, stopped him. Instead, they captured the photo Shawn with Vicky. 

Giselle wanted to break up with Shawn, and packed her bags, and transferred to her other house along with Ivana. She's not actually thinking of her decision, and did so with impulse. One night, she's making Ivana sleep. Her daughter asked her if she can forgive Shawn. She actually cried to her mom that she didn't want her family break. 

When Ivana is already sleeping, she went out of the room, and headed to the balcony of her house. There she cried, and expressed her anger towards Vicky. She didn't want a broken family considering her mom and dad separated too. So she confronted Vicky, and told her how much she is loathing on Vick and warned to stop flirting on Shawn. 

Shawn has been apologetic. He visits his wife in her house at times, but Giselle decided to turn him down. She cries whenever she does, it and so her daughter. Her daughter needs a father, and that thing prompted to talk to Shawn, and forgive him. 

The two eventually mended their ties, and Shawn promised not to break her heart again. After a year, Giselle got married again, and gave birth to Stanley. This time, their love has grown, and continued to do support their family.
