At the onset of the corona virus 2019, people seemed to *panic*. The scare it brought to the people is intensifying day by day. Anxiety has grown with people prefer not to go out of their homes. 

There has been a lot of misinformation about the disease. Social media has become a tool for those propagating. Falsehoods about the illness even made people more intimidated. Paranoid on what they will do outdoors. 

Unsure if the government is telling everything to people. Blame was also thrown at them. The effect illness brought out the worst from people. It became political. Racism escalated. Name-calling is over social media against where the illness originated. Media remained biased on their reporting because they hated that race. 

There's a story of Filipina in Italy, where there's lockdown. When she got out of work, a man hits her mistaking she is Chinese. How could this happen? People are now going mad. 

There are a lot of conspiracy theories regarding the illness. Whether it was invented by the Chinese, and it leaked. Others say pharmaceuticals company has something to do with it. Or it might be some laboratories who are researching about it. Well, we all don't know the truth. 

Some powerful people might be behind it, but we don't know. We, the people, are very prone to manipulation by those with power. There's even a TV show made in the pattern of an epidemic, and who is at fault with the spread of the illness. It didn't help. It's just shaping the minds of the viewers. 

In our place, a news broke out regarding a woman who came home to our province. When she went back to Australia, she was diagnosed with Covid19. People in our province are in *panic* state. Some may even posted the pictures of the patient in social media, which is unlawful. How could some take advantage of the situation to make things worse instead of helping to spread awareness? 

Now, the government and the woman is considering legal actions against those who spread the picture. Yesterday, I went out for jogging in Baywalk, there are few people. I went to the grocery, many people are buying. Perhaps, it's *panic* buying because stalls and displays are getting vacated. 

People are now living in fear. The government seemed not doing anything to de-escalate the *panicking*. At times, we shouldn't be just living in such a way because it won't make us enjoy our life. It would be great if the government will educate people about the disease, and dos and don'ts. But if things go worse, then the government will act accordingly to the safety of the people.
