It took a while to find my tribe, but as far as I'm concerned, these people here are a permanent part of mine.

I think, if anything, this is one of the most important changes that took place in my life while we made our way through Mexico:

# The realization that it's never too late to make new friends, it's never too late to make a new family.

You just have to keep your heart open to the new possibilities and be willing to pay the pain that it sometimes costs to have these.

I hope that we all end up living together somehow as neighbors and grow old together.

But if not, we'll always have Mexico.
