##### Hello ! ##### I was coming to post this evening to show some more of my funky art I've been making, but after the package I received at lunch time got here, that mess got bumped so I could show you the sticks I bought. 🤣 ##### I found the sticks on Etsy and they were marketed as "mark making tools".... you know, for art, mixed media and the such. I wasn't looking for sticks, I just came across them accidentally. I was immediately enamored with them because they were all naturey and stuff. I wasn't sure I was going to get paint on them really, I thought the group might become artsy wall art, but of course I knew I would decide that later.  ##### What almost amazed me more than my sticks, was the creative and thoughtful way they were packaged. The shipping box was a plain old shipping box, but inside.... well that was extra special.  ##### The seller/artist had put in the Thank You note and a copy of her card and had added a bonus tag card that a lot of collagers use in their junk journals.  ##### Each tool was wrapped in a piece of tissue paper and tied with twine the entire length of it, you know, like a little body, wrapped and tied up before being thrown in the lake. ##### Yeah.... I watch too many Law & Order shows....LOL  ##### I was happily amazed though, to find that the tissue around each stick tool had been hand painted with different designs.... something I can use in my collaging.  ##### Inside each tissue, the tools were protected by this stiff corrugated paper,,,, that can ALSO be used for mark making in the paints on the art pieces or when making the collage papers. The twine can be used for the same thing as well.  ##### All in all, everything that had to do with the packaging, except for the outer shipping box (and maybe that too!) can be used in collaging or mixed media art.  ##### It was like getting bonus gifts with my purchase and I was appropriately WOWED when I found how creatively and thoughtfully it had all been presented. ##### It's Friday and the beginning of the weekend hours. Even though it will all seem to be over in 10 minutes, for this moment, it's feeling good!
