Just met another great person here on Steemit, @pawdog and after chit chatting via the comments and so on, I went ahead and surfed his wall and came across this post:

"Steemit Quest For One Million. Time required to build a $1,000,000.00 Steemit Account (Day 19 Results)"

It got me wondering where I was at, with my stats and what the figures have to say about me getting to the magical figure of one million!

When I opened up my steemd I noticed that it was day 200 for me here, nice round figure, so my calculations should be rather simplistic and I shall not take into consideration any potential exponential growth rates. 

Just taking things as they are, here and now on day 200 and applying these facts and figures to the one million dollar goal.

Now, note, I haven't set $1,000,000 as my goal, but I'll make it a little more interesting, no dollars, just STEEM!

1,000,000 STEEM.

So lets see what the crystal ball of statistics has to say for DAY 200:

Reputation: 8,942,393,473,884 = 60.6

So as per the stats to date I can calculate the number of posts needed to reach one million STEEM: 

1,000,000 STEEM / 2.5196 = 396,889 posts

With 454 posts to date, that equals an average of:

454/200 = 2.27 posts per day.

Which gives me the necessary numbers to calculate the amount of days needed to get to 1,000,000 STEEM:

1,000,000 / (2.27 x 2.5196) = 178,840.70 Days

= 490 years, give or take a few days!

With an average of 14 comments per day, so as to ensure that I keep up with the above stats.

Likewise my curation rewards = 0.2529 per day (on average) and hence this then takes the figure down to:

158,894 days

= JUST OVER 435 years!

So, looks like I need to start exercising, taking extra vitamins and posting like a mad man if I want to reach 1,000,000 Steem at the current stats!

or I could look at it as a challenge and keep pushing even harder, learning how the "big boys and girls" do it!
