**Stream**

*It flows gently by*

*O'er the stones that  gently lie*

*A stream of waters pure*

A haiku inspired by nature. I don't know if others feel this way, but I think there's something fascinating about watching water flow.

I read somewhere that it can have a calming effect on your mind, and grant you a dose of inspiration.

I believe this to be true, as I wrote my first haiku while it was raining. After a few minutes watching the water run by; the [haiku](https://steemit.com/poetry/@jacksondavies/haiku-and-the-like-introduction-48b508b57d928) that started this journey was penned.
