It was last month that my son asked me if I can attend his recognition, at first I was hesitant since I already filed the leave previously due to graduation of his sister, I am not aware his schedule. When I tried to confront my son that only his mother my wife who can attend the said activity i felt that he was so sad. He was in Adonai Christian School and I noticed my son strive hard to compete since he was in the public school in elementary. He made a big adjustment in school, an English speaking class, little classmates, more focus and most christian values.

Then I was so bothered when going to the office that day morning, but I was reminded by the father who cancel all his appointments to see the first basketball game of his son. I was reminded that the event for my son that day we will experienced once in a lifetime and that special occasion I am not around as his father.Then I immediately  ask the permission of the HR staff to grant my leave even if its urgent that day afternoon. Thanks God by His mercy my leave of work granted. Then I surprise my wife and son in the school and I saw his smile. I am ahead of time almost  2 hours not be late on my son's special day.
