*Does anyone else find nature to be as incredibly interesting under a macro lens, as I do?*

I think the part that is so exciting, or amazing to me, is that you don't have to go very far to find something stunning.  Even within your home, or your back yard, you could spend hours on end taking fascinating photos of otherwise dull things.

It's almost like being a child again, taking photos and seeing the world in a completely different light.  Here are some of my macro photos.  These were all shot on a 105mm Macro f/2.8 on an older Canon XTi.  I've since upgraded my camera body to a newer one and no longer have that lens - looking for a new macro, maybe you guys can help :)

# Butterflies

# Frog

## Anyone else into macro?  I hope to get out and take some more, looking for suggestions for a new macro lens as well.
