I have a pile of these antiqued copper findings lying about, so I decided to do something with them. I may need to get a proper bail for this necklace though. I don't like just using a jump ring when the chain is intended to slide freely. Would it be better if the necklace used a gear ring like that on the earrings, or do you think the necklace is acceptable if it uses a different design? I also had these chandelier earring pendants that needed to be put to some use or other. Here are my solutions. On the left, I took advantage of the contrast between antique copper and shiny gold. I like the effect, but since I don't intend to wear it, I need input from those who might. On the right, I made something simpler with clock hands made of stamped metal. The patina is fairly consistant despite the varied sources. The next earrings use more of the bright copper in my [previous](https://steemit.com/crafts/@jacobtothe/yet-another-batch-of-necklaces-and-earrings) [posts](https://steemit.com/crafts/@jacobtothe/various-necklaces-and-earrings) and a 10mm amethyst bead along with my usual clockwork embellishment. And last, one of these things may not be like the others. A bracelet with silver-colored findings, the last of my rhinestone spacers, and a handful of dyed druzy agate beads. Much less strampunk. I am also not so sure about lobster claw clasps. Magnets or toggle clasps may be easier to use. What do you think? As usual with these posts, I must apologize for any photography incompetence.
