Black Dragon in action! :)

A few days ago I was lucky to observe one of the most amazing and really epic Splinterlands battles I have ever seen so far, and I decided to share it with you. I always loved the Black Dragon because of its unique features, even if some say it would be not entirely as strong as its close relative, the Gold Dragon. This monster was the decisive card in the mentioned fight.

(By the way, I opened the battle again with my Brave browser, and at least if combined with my Linux Mint operating system the summoners aren't shown.)

In this battle I was using the account of my wife, @kobold-djawa, and in the "Fog of War" modus I tried out the strategy to put the Peaceful Giant in front, supporting it by as many healers and 'health increasers'  as possible.

It didn't help, while the opponent lost his Lord Arianthus, the Peaceful Giant got eliminated, as well ... However, it happend that my Black Dragon seized the moment to shine: suddenly I noticed it had reached a health score of 14, and even if Spirit of the Forest and Javelin Thrower were attacking it relentlessly, it increased more and more. The highest health score reached in this match by my Black Dragon was 46!!:

Just tell me if you think I am exaggerating because you see battles like this on a daily basis, but come on, I bet you have never seen a battle like this before! :-)

Let me take the opportunity to congratulate the Splinterlands team for continously improving that fascinating game.

The idea of introducing DEC (Dark energy Crystals) as a new 'currency' to create an incentive to play more battles per day and at the same time combat card inflation is so good that it could be mine. :-)
</p>

<p>
The system to be able to buy Orbs and Potions (which increase the chances to gain better cards) with DEC is well-conceived. The animation when opening an orb is stunning.
</p>

<p>
Apart from that @aggroed and @yabapmatt have been really creative by inventing the skills of the new monsters which are really powerful creatures!
