Here's my personal approach, for now..

I AM DOWNSCALING MY LIFE.

I'm selling my house, furniture, guitars, motorcycles, gifting away anything else.
I will buy a very small patch of land and build on it a small eco home.
Self sufficient in electricity, water and gas.

Of items owned, i will be able to recite an inventory, if questioned. If they don't have functionality its because they are beautiful or bring great pleasure.

My reason for moving from a beautiful victorian granite house on the rich east coast of scotland, to a wind battered valley of snow and hills in the desolate highlands is simple..

In this new era of finance, i think it is crucial to adopt a new lifestyle. Where cryptocoins stand for redistribution of power and wealth then i say let's not make the mistake of the baby boomers; greed and over consumption that leads to the manipulation of wealth to further fulfill that greed.. 

I want to live with less, and have more as a result.

And learn coding, and grow vegetables.
