Hello to all the Hive Gaming community, today I want to continue with the Blogging Challenge of our partner @marcoquin, and is that I commented previously retro games (say retro to the games of my childhood make me feel old hahaha) have a special place in the hearts of many of us, and as I told you in my previous post my first console was the incredible Playstation 1 (Slim edition) and it came with a cd with several game demos for us to choose which one would be better to try, although to my advantage (and very lucky) my PS1 also came with several games because my parents were sure that I would love this console. <center> [Source](https://vandal.elespanol.com/juegos/psx/metal-slug-x/520#p-17)</center> Remembering my first game is quite complicated because it was many years ago and too many games have passed through my hands hahaha but the one that according to my memory was the first video game that I really sat down to play was **Metal Slug** , I remember seeing it and thinking "how cool is the cover" I must admit that not only the cover was great, but the whole game in general, the characteristic phrases like the ***Heavy Machine gun***, the ***Rocket launcher*** or when our character due to grabbing too much food had an epic weight gain (which made him slow but with more powerful attacks), besides being able to handle different mobiles like the well known camel or even a plane in one of the worlds were something that for me was seriously epic. <center> [Source](https://store.steampowered.com/app/312610/METAL_SLUG_X/?l=spanish)</center> I also remember that this was the first game I finished because it is not really very long, but it was extremely entertaining, I got to play it so many times that there were bosses that I knew how to beat by heart or I was challenged to save as many hostages as possible. I remember the first time I finished it, for me the last mission was something epic, besides seeing that satire they had against the Nazi movement and its alleged connection with aliens, it really was and remains a game that I not only remember with great affection but from time to time I return to play. <center> [Source](https://metal-slug-x.peatix.com/)</center> Really talk much of this great game is complicated because although I remember it clearly 100%, is a very short game (we only had 5 levels) in addition to having a story well known to all those of this generation of consoles, so I can only add that it is a game that I remember with great affection and that was responsible for marking my afternoons after school, I hope that more people in the community join this Retro Gaming challenge of @marcoquin and share those great experiences that brought us these "old" video games haha, see you another time and I hope you are great. <center> [Source](https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@marcoquin/retro-gaming-blogging-challenge-join-us)</center> <center>***Español***</center> Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive Gaming, hoy quiero continuar con el Blogging Challenge de nuestro compañero @marcoquin, y es que comenté anteriormente los juegos retro (decirle retro a los juegos de mi infancia me hacen sentir viejo jajaja) tienen un lugar especial en el corazón de muchos de nosotros, y como ya les comenté en mi post anterior mi primera consola fue la increíble Playstation 1 (edición Slim) y está traía un cd con varios demos de juegos para que fuésemos eligiendo cuál sería mejor para probar, aunque para mí ventaja (y mucha suerte) mi PS1 vino también con varios juegos ya que mis papás tenían la seguridad de que me encantaría está videoconsola. <center> [Source](https://vandal.elespanol.com/juegos/psx/metal-slug-x/520#p-17)</center> Recordar mi primer juego es bastante complicado porque fue hace muchos años y han pasado demasiados juegos por mis manos jajaja pero el que según mis recuerdo fue el primer videojuego que en serio me senté concentrado a jugar fue **Metal Slug** , recuerdo verlo y pensar "que genial esta la portada" debo admitir que no solo la portada era genial, sino todo el juego en general, las frases tan características como el ***Heavy Machine gun*** el ***Rocket launcher*** o cuando nuestro personaje debido a agarrar demasiada comida tenía un aumento épico de peso (que lo hacía lento pero con ataques más poderosos), además de poder manejar diferentes móviles como el tan conocido camello o inclusive un avión en uno de los mundos eran algo que para mí era en serio épico. <center> [Source](https://store.steampowered.com/app/312610/METAL_SLUG_X/?l=spanish)</center> Recuerdo además que este fue el primer juego que termine ya que realmente no es muy largo, pero era extremadamente entretenido, llegue a jugarlo tantas veces que ya habían bosses se sabía vencer de memoria o me ponía retos como lograr salvar a la mayor cantidad de rehenes. Recuerdo que la primera vez que lo termine para mí su última misión fue algo épico, además de ver esa sátira que tuvieron contra el movimiento Nazi y su supuesta conexión con aliens, realmente era y sigue siendo un juego que no solo recuerdo con mucho cariño sino que de vez en cuando vuelvo a jugar. <center> [Source](https://metal-slug-x.peatix.com/)</center> Realmente hablar mucho de este genial juego es complicado porque a pesar de que lo recuerdo con claridad al 100%, es un juego muy corto (solo teníamos 5 niveles) además de tener pues una historia más que conocida para todos aquellos de esta generación de consolas, así que solo puedo agregar que es un juego que recuerdo con un cariño enorme y que se encargó de marcar mis tardes luego de clases, espero que más personas de la comunidad se unan a este Retro Gaming challenge de @marcoquin y compartir esas experiencias tan geniales que nos trajeron estos "viejos" vídeojuegos jaja, nos veremos en otra oportunidad y espero se encuentren genial. <center> [Source](https://peakd.com/hive-140217/@marcoquin/retro-gaming-blogging-challenge-join-us)</center>
