Or something like that. At least that's the goal. Facebook is ramping up their AI and virtual reality division and just bought Ctrl-Labs for a billion dollars! It's a company that has a **mind-reading wristband** whereby you can think about doing something with your hands and the signals from your brain are converted to digital actions. Crtl-Labs are neural scientists who've made alot of progress in the field. Great news for people who are paralyzed or have missing limbs, the technology is advancing nicely. 1 Billion dollars is a major investment and Facebook has some major goals. ## Look Ma, no hands! They say the wristbands will be **"instrumental in developing new ways of interacting with machines without needing traditional mouse-and-keyboard setups, touchscreens, or any form of physical controller whatsoever."** Holy Smokes! What year is it? This sounds like futuristic stuff but they're saying this mind control of computers or put another way..**mind and computer interface** is coming soon! **AND** without implants or chips in the brain.
