As I'm used to on Tuesdays I join the weekly art challenge of the Splinterlands community, which started three days ago and after an extensive search of the cards that the game has that caught my attention to enter the challenge, I liked a card called Exploding Dwarf, a character that belongs to the Fire splinter, common type.

Next, I am going to share with you the fascinating story behind Exploding Dwarf.

Como estoy acostumbrado los dias martes me sumo al reto semanal de arte de la comunidad de Splinterlands, que comenzo hace tres dias y luego de una extensa busquedas de las cartas que posee el juego que me llamara la atencion para poder ingresar en el reto, me gusto una carta llamada Exploding Dwarf, un personaje que pertenece al splinter de Fuego, tipo comun.

A continuación, les voy a compartir la fascinante historia detrás de Exploding Dwarf.

To start this drawing, I began the process by looking for a reference with the idea I had in mind. After finding an image that met the essential characteristics I was looking for, of a character with a great power, I began to merge the character according to the story of Exploding Dwarf.

After about 7 hours, I managed to complete the work. I hope you enjoy the images that show the development of the character.

Para dar inicio a este dibujo, comence el proceso buscando una referencia con la idea que tenia en mente. Tras encontrar una imagen que reunía las caracteristicas esenciales que buscaba, de un personaje con un gran poder, empece a fusionar el personaje segun la historia de Exploding Dwarf.

Después de aproximadamente 7 horas, logré completar la obra. Espero que disfruten las imágenes que muestran el desarrollo del personaje.

In the initial part of the sketch, I started by making several guide lines until I reached a convincing resemblance with the reference image I had chosen. To continue with the coloring stage and apply the shadows by combining several colors.
