Welcome everyone, I hope you are having a great day. It fills me with joy to share with you that I was mentioned in the weekly challenge and today I officially join the new Splinterlands community art challenge. This exciting challenge started two days ago, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to join in.

One of the things I enjoy most about these types of initiatives is the chance to immerse myself in the vast universe of cards the game has to offer, explore them in depth and reinterpret them in my own artistic style. After a search among the available cards, there was one in particular that completely captured my attention: Torch Vizier. This character belongs to the rare-type Fire Splinter.

 In this post, I want to share with you the fascinating story I have imagined behind Torch Vizier, combining elements of the original lore with my own creative vision. Get ready to meet this guardian.

Este emocionante reto comenzó hace dos días, y no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de poder unirme.

Una de las cosas que más disfruto de este tipo de iniciativas es la posibilidad de sumergirme en el extenso universo de cartas que ofrece el juego, explorarlas con detenimiento y reinterpretarlas con mi propio estilo artístico. Luego de una búsqueda entre las cartas disponibles, hubo una en particular que capturó por completo mi atención: Torch Vizier. Este personaje pertenece al Splinter de Fuego de tipo raro.

 En esta publicación, quiero compartir con ustedes la historia fascinante que he imaginado detrás de Torch Vizier, combinando elementos del lore original con mi propia visión creativa. Prepárense para conocer a este guardián.

To start this work, I immersed myself in the research phase, looking for a visual reference that would fit with the idea I had in mind. My goal was to capture the essence of a character with an imposing presence and an exuberant mane that conveyed power. After exploring several images, I finally found one that met the key characteristics I was looking for with the main character of the post called Torch Vizier.

From that base, I started the fusion process: I reinterpreted the character, incorporating narrative elements from Torch Vizier's lore and adapting them to my artistic style.

The complete development of the drawing took me approximately 7 hours. From the initial silhouette to the final touches of color and shadows, the goal was to give life to a character that could ignite the imagination of those who see it.

I hope you enjoy the images that accompany this publication and can appreciate the evolution of the character at each stage of the process.

Para dar inicio a esta obra, me sumergí en la fase de investigación, buscando una referencia visual que encajara con la idea que tenía en mente. Mi objetivo era capturar la esencia de un personaje con una presencia imponente, y que contara con una melena exuberante que transmitiera poder. Luego de explorar diversas imágenes, finalmente encontré una que reunía las características clave que buscaba con el personaje principal del post llamado Torch Vizier.

A partir de esa base, comencé el proceso de fusión: reinterpreté al personaje, incorporando elementos narrativos del lore de Torch Vizier y adaptándolos a mi estilo artístico.

El desarrollo completo del dibujo me llevó aproximadamente 7 horas. Desde la silueta inicial hasta los últimos toques de color y sombras, el objetivo fue dar vida a un personaje que pudiera encender la imaginación de quienes lo vean.

In the first steps of this creation, I started the sketch by drawing multiple guide lines that allowed me to structure the character correctly. These lines were fundamental to define the character, until I achieved a certain resemblance to the reference image I had chosen. It was a stage of visual exploration, where each stroke brought me closer to the essence I wanted to capture.

Once I finished with the base sketch, I moved on to the coloring phase. Here began one of the most exciting moments of the process: the application of shadows and lights to give volume and depth to the main character of the post, what I liked the most was the coloring of the skin.

En los primeros pasos de esta creación, inicié el boceto trazando múltiples líneas guía que me permitieran estructurar correctamente el personaje. Estas líneas fueron fundamentales para definir al personaje, hasta lograr un cierto parecido con la imagen de referencia que había elegido.

Una vez finalice con la base del boceto, pasé a la fase de coloreado. Aquí comenzó uno de los momentos más emocionantes del proceso: la aplicación de sombras y luces para dar volumen y profundidad al personaje principal de post, lo que mas me gusto fue el coloreado de la piel.
