Wall Street Journal mentioned about houses designed for wellness, for mindfulness, for meditation. The author used the word "nirvana". I think she interprets nirvana as Buddhism heaven. But the real meaning of nirvana is out of samsara; or out of endless process of reboring. Nirvana means dying but not reborn. It's the ultimate goal for Buddhism practice. I think it is a terrible word to describe our secular living because we don't want to think about death in the daily life.

華爾街日報報導一些豪宅為特別為靜坐，沉思，打坐而設計。作者用涅槃這個字來描寫這些豪宅。我想她的意思是指極樂世界，或是指佛教的天堂。但是涅槃的原意是指超出輪迴，也就是死了但不輪迴。涅槃雖然是佛教僧侶修煉的最高目的，但這個字並不適合描述我們的住所。因為我們不想在日常生活中常常想到死亡。
