The Reasons why Some Newbies Fail to Grow in Steemit Platform.
> I have not failed, I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. - Thomas Edison

# Hi Everyone.
#
This topic is a very alarming concern addressed to everybody. Given the fact that our community here grows little by little, but others seem to pull-out from the platform. I think of the ways why they did part ways from the platform, and was able to realize these things :
#
- ## Steemit is not "Easy-breezy" to get money.

Yes, Steemit is an incentivized social media platform - but you need to put sweat on it. Earning in Steemit is difficult to earn - **AT FIRST**. Understanding the basics and how the platform works must be your first assignment on how to caught their upvotes. Our users here have the power to upvote post they like, and remember that content is **Steemit's** brand. Post article that are informative, well written, and with proper markdown techniques.

Understand that on your first weeks in Steemit, most of the users are not earning much. But the moment they get recognized and they continue the momentum. I assure you, the growth will rise as x to the power of something.

- ## They Struggle to find Good Content

Creating a good content is so hard to make. A content that the community mostly like, which will make them get more upvotes. In return it made them more challenging, and ended thinking the site is difficult to make money. Everybody must understand that Steemit is not a site for earning money, its about learning from user's contents, making friends and interacting with them, and most especially building a network. In Steemit you can redefine yourself, express your feelings, harness your talent, and share some important information to others. This is the thing they miss, because what's embedded on their minds are **earnings**. Steemit only offer that kind of *feature*!
#
- ## They see the Biased System

http://schoolofthinking.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/252B.png

Some newbies see **shitty post** getting $300 / $200 per post, when in fact their content made was far away better than it. This is a part of Steemit's negative side. But they have to understand that its because of the people's **power**. That post made big because someone upvoted it, and that he invested his stake for a high Steem Power. I understand that there are some users who abuse that, but we can't blame them. They have their own will to which post they wanted to upvote, and they invested in Steemit!

My advice is to ignore it. Focus on your personal growth. As much as possible, look on trending lines. Learn how they create those *hundred-dollar* post and apply it next time on your blogs. Check the way they post tags, the way they beautify their contents using markdown, where to place the pictures, and the time they are posting the content. Don't dwell on the negative side of Steemit, instead twist your mind and see the beauty of the platform. I say to you, **THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING PLATFORM I EVER MET!**.
#
- ## The Platform Seems to be Technical

http://advisoranalyst.com/glablog/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/cropped-complexity650-300_vectorized.png

There are some users who just wanted to be involved in the platform itself. They simply hate technicals, **STEEM**, **STEEM DOLLARS**, **STEEM POWER**, which they can't escape its relation to crypto. To be honest, this is one of the main reasons why some of our invited users here quit the platform. They face difficulties in understanding it, they had asked and I provided some help. The real problem is how they explore these terms.

My advice to newbies is read at least a couple of pages of **STEEM Whitepaper**. It will help you understand the how the platform works, and how do these tokens influence the blogging platform.
