BEFORE getting into a romantic relationship, you have to know that it's not all about hearts, rainbows and cheesiness. Pain is inevitable and you happen to be very prone to that when you are in a relationship. Love is beautiful and heart-shattering at the same time and you just have to suck it up because that's the truth. One of the most common reasons of lover's quarrel and break up is infidelity. One party decided to cheat or maybe both parties cheated.

I have heard more than enough number of stories about cheating from my friends. And, yes, each story, no matter how big or small, was awful. Cheating is awful. It stings. Here are some of the common reasons I've discovered why some people cheated on their partners:

## 1. A very limited time for each other.

A friend told me that her partner blamed her for being too career-driven. They barely have enough time to have a date or watch a movie because she was too focused on her career. Which leads us to the second reason...

## 2. Lack of time to have sex. 
#
Yes, it is true that sex makes a relationship deeper and intense. Especially for married couple. I really think that when you are married, you have to satisfy your partner in bed. You don't have to feel pressured to do it everytime. But it is important that you find time to do it or else your partner would do it with someone else who has time and is very much willing.

## 3. Too much nagging.

When you always find a fault on your partner so you'd have a reason to nag, your partner would really get tired of it and would eventually get tired of you. Some issues are better resolved when you talk about it calmly and in a more civilized way. You don't need to shout or curse your partner. You don't have to throw hurtful and insulting words just because you're angry. He/she is your partner, not your enemy.

## 4. Your partner found someone else. Someone better, prettier, smarter, more caring and more understanding.

Apparently that's not your fault. Someone will always be better than you and that's the truth. But if your partner truly loves you and is committed to you, no other person will be better than you in his eyes. Because for him, you will always be the best despite your imperfections.

## 5. Cheater. Period.

Sometimes or maybe oftentimes, there is no specific reason. You have done your best as his or her partner and you've given everything for your relationship but still ended up getting cheated on.

Never blame yourself if your partner cheated on you. Let me also tell you that some people would also blame you for how your relationship with your partner ended. And yes, your partner would most probably point out your faults and mishaps to put the blame on you. But don't listen to them. Yes, you might have done something which triggered your partner to cheat on you. But it's not entirely your fault. Cheating is a choice and your partner chose to cheat on you and break your trust. If he's no longer happy with you, he could've talked to you to either try to fix your relationship or end it. But instead of confronting you, he chose to cheat on you and that is a clear sign of insult and disrespect. 

Don't question yourself if you've done enough or not. Regardless of your mistakes, there is no reason that could justify cheating. It has been wrong and will always be wrong. Now it's up to you whether you'd give your cheater of a partner another chance or not. And I'm telling you, that's an entirely different story.
