Hello Splinterlands friends, one more week we are going to analyze one of the battle conditions of Splinterlands. This time it will be the turn to talk about *Target Practice*, a battle condition that delights all followers of cards with ranged and magic attacks.

We will see what this battle condition consists of, the best tips to get the most out of it and finally I will share with all of you one of my combats to put into practice everything I have learned previously.

Let's start by talking about what the *Target Practice* condition consists of.

## <center><b>What is the "TARGET PRACTICE" condition?</b></center>

When this condition is active all ranged and magical attacking creatures have the ability *Snipe*. That is, they attack creatures that have ranged or magic attack and are not in the first position.

> Cuando esta condición está activa todas las criaturas de ataque mágico y a distancia tienen la habilidad *Snipe*. O sea, atacan a las criaturas que tengan ataque a distancia o mágico y no esté en la primera posición.

## <center><b>How to get advantage</b></center>

I will now list a few tips to be victorious in this battle condition:

- We must be careful with the cards we use in this condition. Cards with low vitality and ranged or magic attack are vulnerable, so if we want to use them it is best to use them in the last positions.
- Summoners that enhance our ranged or magic attacks are essential to improve our attacks or in the opposite case, summoners that reduce these attacks. Some examples would be **General Sloan**, **Obsidian**, **Bortus** or **Quix the Devious**.
- Using cards with abilities such as *Protect* or *Void* will help us to defend ourselves from ranged and magical attacks.
- If we can't use a summoner to reduce ranged or magic attacks we can use cards with abilities like *Headwings* or *Silence*.
- A good strategy is to use cards with the *Martyr* ability after our tank. All ranged and melee attacks will be directed at her and we can activate the power of the cards around her.

> A continuación voy a enumerar unos cuantos consejos para salir victorioso ante esta condición de batalla:

>- Debemos llevar cuidado con las cartas que usamos ante esta condición. Cartas con poca vitalidad y de ataque a distancia o mágico son vulnerables, así que si deseamos usarlas lo mejor es en las últimas posiciones.
>- Invocadores que potencien nuestros ataques a distancia o mágicos son fundamentales para mejorar nuestros ataques o en el caso contrario, invocadores que reduzcan estos ataques. Unos ejemplos sería, **General Sloan**, **Obsidian**, **Bortus** o **Quix the Devious**.
>- Usar cartas con habilidades como *Protect* o *Void* nos ayudarán a defendernos de los ataques a distancia y mágicos.
>- Si no podemos usar un invocador para reducir los ataques a distancia o mágicos podemos hacer uso de cartas con habilidades como *Headwings* o *Silence*.

I struggle against an opponent who boosts his ranged attack with **General Sloan**, my strategy is to boost my most lethal creatures at the expense of **Venari Marksrat**.

The first turn starts with extremely powerful attacks from my enemy that finish for 2 times with **Venari Marksrat** which triggers *Martyr* 2 times and upgrades the abilities of **Drybone Barbarian** and **Drybone Raider**.



>Lucho contra un rival que potencia sus ataque a distancia con **General Sloan**, mi estrategia es potenciar mis criaturas más letales a costa de **Venari Marksrat**.

>El primer turno empieza con ataques extremadamente poderosos de mi enemigo que acaban por 2 veces con **Venari Marksrat** lo que hace activar *Martyr* 2 veces y mejorar las habilidades de **Drybone Barbarian** y **Drybone Raider**.

### <center>Round 2</center>

In the second one, **Venari Marksrat** dies for the third time, which makes me improve even more creatures, now they are extremely powerful. After several accurate hits I destroy **Iziar** and eliminate one of the most powerful creatures of the enemy.

> En el segundo muere por tercera vez **Venari Marksrat** lo que hace que mejorar aún más criaturas, ahora son extremadamente poderosas. Después de varios golpes certeros destruyo a **Iziar** y elimino una de las criaturas más poderosas del enemigo.

On the third turn I destroy **Time Mage** and **Djinn Renova**, my strategy is working great. **Drybone Raider** has very powerful attacks and **Adelade Brightwing** repairs his shield while **Djinn Renova** his vitality.

Fourth turn in which I destroy **Supply Runner** and **Pelacor Arbalest**, the enemy has nothing to do against my strategy.

With **Uriel the Purifier** alone, my enemy suffers the agony of knowing that no matter how powerful his creature is, nothing he can do to avoid defeat.

 > Ya únicamente con **Uriel the Purifier** mi enemigo sufre la agonía de saber que por muy poderosa que sea su criatura nada podrá hacer para evitar la derrota.

### <center>Round 6</center>

An accurate blow from **Drybone Raider** makes **Uriel the Purifier** writhe in pain and ends his life giving me the victory.

# <center>My opinion</center>

The arrival of new abilities has evolved the strategies used and with *Target Practice* making use of cards with *Martyr* is one of the best options we have to empower our best creatures. We know who is going to receive the hits so we just have to place our cards and wait for the events.

> La llegada de nuevas habilidades han hecho evolucionar las estrategias usadas y con *Target Practice* hacer uso de cartas con *Martyr* es una de las mejores opciones que tenemos para potenciar a nuestras mejores criaturas. Sabemos quien va a recibir los impactos así que solo debemos colocar nuestras cartas y esperar los acontecimientos.
