The perspective of this concept was quite different during the time periods when many of the sacred texts describing such events were written. Apocalypse comes from the Greek *apokálypsis*, meaning *uncovering* or *revealing*. The leather covering used to cover the head and eyes of a raptor in the sport of falconry is called an apocalypse. While the eyes and head of the falcon are covered, it is immobile, incapable of flight and chained to it's master. The apocalypse is removed from the head of the bird to allow for access to vision and in turn - freedom. I feel this is a great analogy of this concept. We are now living in the post-apocalyptic-era. The time of the great revealing has come and gone. In the age of the internet, access to information has has surpassed the desire for knowledge and the ability to connect with one another on a global scale has never been as prevalent. We have eyes and ears at the ground level everywhere on the globe. No good deed goes unwitnessed and no bad deed goes unreported. Knowledge that was never supposed to return to the hands of the general public has sprung forth in abundance and **the ability to remove our own apocalypse has come into grasp.** # Take A Look At Reality The access to information provided by the internet has blown the lid off the can, people are aware of the prevalence of government corruption and the rights violations committed by police and military on a daily basis are apparent to all those who can see. If you joined the police or military of your own accord, chances are you did it because you; * Wanted to help your community in a positive way * Wanted to uphold the law * Wanted to defend your country * Though it was an honorable way to earn a living in service of others These are all great reasons to choose a specific occupation and we can respect any person who is willing to risk their personal safety on a regular basis for any of the above. The problem that many within the police and military have come to realize is that the service you are employed for is not quite as it is presented to new recruits. This is also quite apparent to much of the general public, to which more harm is done than good. If, as an officer, we are to assume you are acting within a moral capacity that should be necessary for your qualification for said position (you are morally upstanding enough to police the morality of others); if any practice, policy or action of any member of your organization should go against any Natural Law Principles or Human Rights, this would be grounds for detaching yourself from said organization for the same reasons you joined and notifying the public (whom you supposedly protect) of any improper use and abuse of office. # Stand For Human Rights A Right is a Right because no one has the authority to take a Right away from us. Anything that is a Right for one, is a Right for ALL. Anything that is **not** a Right, is **not** a Right for all. This philosophy is so simple and easy to understand. Great effort has been gone through to prevent this correlation in the minds of the people - especially the police and military. Please come to terms with this fact: **If one person does not have the Right to an act, no group of people can claim a Right to said act.** That means that if I do not have the right to commit an act towards you, you do not have the right to commit an act towards me, regardless of who your employer is or what type of clothing you are wearing. **A Human Right is any action which does not commit harm to another or their property.** This is a fact and is Law within our reality. Any time an act is committed towards another which causes harm, and is not in direct self-defense, a Rights violation has been committed. **You do not have the right to harm another because of something written on paper or because you were given an order.** What would a police officer say to a "criminal" who's excuse for committing the crime was "somebody told me to do it"? Same goes for the police officer. **Violence** insinuates a **violation** of Rights. Please stop committing violence against your fellow man by committing the following acts; * Imposing on the right of free travel * Assisting in the theft of the fruits of another's labor (imposing fines for victimless incidents) * Detaining people against their will * Committing theft of other people's property * Imposing fear through placing hands on weapons during interactions with unarmed civilians * Demanding compliance through duress (threatening those who do not comply with you with consequential repercussions) * Physically assaulting people * Committing murder You can not violate Rights in protection of said Rights. If a person went to your families home while you were at work and violated their rights, then claimed to be doing it to protect them, how would you react? Please come to terms with the fact that this applies across the board. Rights can not be delegated to another that do not exist. If the people do not have the right to commit certain acts, how can the people delegate the right to these same acts to a government who supposedly gets their power from the people? Please have the courage to recognize that you were wrong, you still have a chance to do the right thing and **truly stand for freedom and human rights**. I've been there and had to come to terms with the fact that the line of work I was in was immoral... I've had to do this twice! There are other means of employment and society will have your back if you stand up for what's right! For those in the military, when does it stop? I like how @maxigan puts it, "If all these governments have problems with one another, why don't they just go bomb the government buildings?" Would you round up your own country men if you were ordered to? Bomb our hospitals and schools? # Respect, Love & Peace The truth is, I present this out of love and respect to promote peace. I am appealing to my brothers and sisters to use reason and logic. Spend a long weekend doing your own independent research. I will again quote @maxigan, "The world is run by criminals". If you join them, you are a criminal. You can not prevent violence with perpetual violence and can not protect Rights by violating Rights. Please put down your guns and take up educating yourselves and the public around you to what is truly going on. We need more brave people to side with Truth and Freedom. If any who are reading this are actually in the service, thank you for being open minded enough to get through this and please, do your own research and search within yourself to ask yourself if what you are doing is right **all of the time**?
