Hello everyone 🦋

So I'm super thrilled to be part of this contest,I was kinda scared at first like if you go through people's work here and you don't sit up then you're just being ignorant or just lazy. 


So I had to challenge myself on this one, first we all know how beautiful nature is, it gives so much to life, and since I was a nature love and also into mysticism...I tried to picture something out of the ordinary.

so this drawing actually took me a few days to come up with, and there's a story behind why used a mermaid, we all know mermaid are mystical creatures and also aquatic beings, they prefer to live under one for specific reasons, one including not being discovered.

Well this mermaid isn't just an ordinary mermaid, she's also a goddess which indicates her four hands and also a demon ghoul signifying her snake hair and dark eyes, since mermaid are known for their beautify and special skills of capturing their prey which are mostly men, the branches at the back of her head indicate nature, the petals and flower indicates the sweet scent of nature that captures weak minds.

Let's not forget the men on her branches of course, they are like her trophy, it's funny how they look like fruits...hehe😂, look at them smiling even after their body has been eaten off, so this mermaid suitors actually indicates her admirers and that's why they actually have flowers growing out of their eyes. 


From my opinion I think she represent nature in a whole level, we have have admired nature by seeing it's beautify, we have seen the same nature destroy and kill alot of people, yet there are stuff we know and stuff we are yet to discover about nature. 

Materials used for drawing was a simple, hb pencil for sketching, then I used blue, black and red pen for the finished touched. It looks like it was kinda easy but it took me awhile to gather up the idea to make it a reality, I even made some little mistakes here and there. But I'm happy it came out well I guess.
