0.000 HBDAdventure for the Atari 2600 was an awesome game.
Did you ever play Adventure? It had everything you could possibly want in a role playing game. Everything that is, except for good graphics or much of a story line. Nevertheless, it was still pretty awesome considering that came out in 1979. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4620/39796419614_a9a52bc4a5_k.jpg _Source: Giantbomb.com_ _Get the key from the Dragon!_ Or I should say.... _Get the key from the pixelated object which doesn't really look like a dragon but is kind of a square type thing!_ I spent countless nights staying up late playing Adventure after my parents were asleep. Our 2600 was connected to the TV in the living room which was quite far away from my parent's bedroom. The sound chip that was inside the 2600 was pretty bad. It kind of sounds like the actual speaker in your computer itself. I'm not talking about the external speakers but the little bitty tiny internal speaker. You play a tiny square. Your object as the tiny square is to find various different keys. You need the keys in order to unlock the castle. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4631/39796509524_1e2a78a1b1_h.jpg _Source: youtube.com_ You might be thinking that this game looks like it sucks. Well you couldn't be more wrong. In 1979 you have to remember that there really weren't any games like this. Adventure was a pioneer and I can tell you that it was tons of fun to play. Kids today just don't understand what it was like to play video games in the past. It was awesome. If you haven't played Adventure I recommend you try to get your hands on an Atari 2600 and give it a go. You won't regret it. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4296/35316190583_66b8830143.jpg
