<h2>Lunatik Phone Case</h2>
After my work Iphone (Iphone 6 16GB) was dropped yesterday by someone else (not me) and replaced by work. The IT department had an Iphone 7 32GB in stock luckily, or else I would have had a basic loaner phone (not a smartphone) until my replacement arrived.

I had my phone for about four years and it was time to be replaced anyway, the screen was coming away from the body, the events yesterday just accelerated it's replacement. Also, yesterday's incident was also a rare time where my phone  didn't have a screen protector on as well. 

Given that I usually have phones for about four years, I need them to last, they typically do. I am also quite often on building sites or other places that have bare concrete as the floor. So an unprotected phone which is dropped can mean the end of the phone. Therefore I decided to get a fairly tough case to protect the "new" phone as much as I can. In the end I decided on the "Lunatik" case.

Initial thoughts on the case, it is fairly heavy (metal frame with rubber surround screwed together), the weight is something I will get used to. The gorilla glass means that a bit more pressure is required when using selecting apps or typing, etc. I went for this case as it should do a good job protecting  the phone and is heavy duty. I tend to buy things for  function first (how well will it work) then form (looks).
