# The World Blockchain Forum

Next week, the World Blockchain Forum on Security Tokens & ICO's  will take place in New York City. The convention will begin on Monday evening, June 11th with a networking ceremony and will continue until the end of the day on Wednesday, June 13th. This event is in association with [The North American Bitcoin Conference](https://btcmiami.com/), which is hosted annually in Miami, Florida.

This year I will be attending the World Blockchain Forum thanks to a sponsorship from the [Bitcoin Center NYC](https://www.bitcoincenternyc.com/). The Bitcoin Center NYC was founded by Nick Spanos in 2013 as a center for promoting bitcoin, blockchain and encouraging the trade of cryptocurrency throughout the community. Originally, the Bitcoin Center NYC was stationed in the shadows of the New York Stock Exchange, but it has since been relocated to 157 Prince Street in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.
