Every time I come home, my cat demands that I spoil her for at least ten minutes by petting her and giving her treats. I'm not sure if it more because she misses me and wants me to show her love, or if it's my payment in kind for making her wait for me to come home to her. It may be a bit of both. I may have to start demanding that the people in my life pet me when they've been gone for awhile.
