Since 2012, the Bitcoin market has did this one thing 50% of the time.  From January to approximately the last week of February.

In 2012
1/12 high to a 1/27 low and then sideways between those 2 points.

From the 12/16/2012 Low then up

High on 1/6 then down to a 2/25 low.

Low on 1/14 to 1/26 high and then sideways.

2016
Low of 1/16 from the high on 12/12/2015 then sideways between those 2 points.

2017
From 1/4 high to 1/12 low and then up.

From 2012 to 2017 Bitcoin has traded sideways 50% of the time. 33.33% of time the market has gone up. That leaves 1 out of 6, or 16.67%, of those years in a down market.

There are 11 dates mentioned above. 2 occurred in December leaving 9. 

6 of the January dates have passed with the 2014 high date being spot on. That leaves the 2012 low and 2015 high for this month. Finally, the low in February, 2014, to watch for next month.
