Beauty they say, is in the eye of the beholder. 
This much is True.
It matters not if the eyes which are beholding,
Are brown or blue.
What really governs the beauty we see, is the
Heart behind those eyes.
 &nbsp; 
Our eyes only process light, images and data.
The heart interprets.
It determines if the image we see stirs feelings;
Love, anger, pity.
Whether Sadness or Joy, spine shivering majesty,
The heart determines.
&nbsp; 
A hardened heart is a terrible thing; avoid it.
Do not close up.
The feelings of life are magnificent things, yes;
Even sadness.
They flow through and cleanse us as they pass, leaving
A fresh palette.
