My Election Results and Final Thoughts on the 2018 LP Convention

This convention, I did not obtain a position on the LNC board as I'd been vying for these past few months.

I will not say that I lost or that it is unfortunate.

Here's why:

Over the past year, I've gotten to travel to multiple states, attending conventions, helping with ballot access, and other functions. I've had the absolute pleasure of working with the best people involved in politics, and our family is literally the best. Which led us here.

During this convention, I got to shake hands, hug, laugh with, and had rational, productive conversation with so many of our brilliant activists. I sat down with pragmatics, radicals, the audacious, ancaps, libsocs, and everyone else somewhere in between.

So I won.

Talking and working with so many diverse and brilliant people is such an extraordinary thing to do and will always be a win in my book.

Where to go from here?

I'll just keep winning. Whether it be through facilitating conversation, helping on projects, giving to or assisting candidates, traveling to state conventions, or just being a general resource as best I can to anyone who asks.

I take a great deal of pride in the dedication, creativity, and passion our people bring to the table. Whether it's Michael Heise organizing the Human Action Bash, or Mike Shipley with the Bottom Unity Summit, Joshua Smith's drive, Nicholas J. Sarwark's presence he brings on the stage, to Alex Merced's passion for unity and principle, all of our countless activist that do everything from run liberty-minded organizations or take up the mantle and run for office like Larry Sharpe, Caleb Dyer, Rex Lawhorn, and many more have.

We have so many great people and every single voice is important. In the current state of affairs, nothing that we do for liberty is too small from memes to articles, campaigns, etc. never think a role is too small.

I'm proud of my party, I'm proud of my family. We've come along way and we've got further to go. Let's take the opportunities to grow, learn, build coalitions. We've got liberty to protect and a state to diminish. If that's your goal, let's be #Libertarians
