This week's theme is "Trust," and I immediately thought of this song, Trust and Obey, which fits the theme.

My interpretation of this song is that we can only be happy in Jesus if we trust and obey him. Most of the time, we think that once we have given our lives to God and have been saved through Jesus Christ, problems will automatically disappear. 

While Jesus Christ was on earth, he suffered through a lot and the devil also came to tempt him but he was rebuked by the word.

It is very difficult to trust anyone in this world today, even yourself. For instance, you may tell yourself that you don't want to do a certain thing again but before you know it, you find yourself doing them again. However, we have someone we can always trust completely in good and bad times. It is written in the scriptures that the plans he has for us are of good and not of evil so that we may have an expected end.

As I reflect on my life, I try to avoid seeing it as one full of problems since, in reality, there is no perfect life and if we all put our problems on the table, we're more likely to want to take care of our own problems than choose another person's.

Many times in my life, things have gone south and I have felt punished and frustrated. But then, I would think about it and say things like, "why are these things still happening despite my repentance even after I have confessed and repented of my sins?" Yeah, I have thought about these things. It is written in the scriptures that the Lord will have mercy on who he wishes to have mercy. This confirms that our God is an unquestionable God.

In the process of all these things happening, I have learned to know who I am in Jesus Christ, the Lord's child. He will never allow me to be tempted beyond that which I can bear. So when things go south, I don't look at it like things are bad. Instead, I think it's not what God wants for me at that time or that Hehe has a better plan for me.

Trusting God has been the most meaningful decision I have ever made because it did not only take away negativity from the way I think but also gave me peace of mind. That  is what trust does.

Having peace over something that is dear to you comes from being able to trust anyone with it. So long as I do not disconnect myself from him, I can trust God with my life and everything I am. He has always been there for me and I am certain that he will always be there for me.

Due to the way the world has become, we can't trust anyone in this life, but we shouldn't forget that there is someone we can always trust.
