Welcome to Three Tune Tuesday. A nice space in the Music community that was born from the idea of brother @ablaze, where all the participants recommend music to each other. I have nothing else on my mind right now, as we are recording an album of Christmas choral music these days, and in two weeks we will be recording the music videos, so even though we are in the scary week of Halloween, Christmas cheer surrounds me. I will share with you three songs that are going to our album that I hope to share with you in December, so start making your playlists of parrandas and aguinaldos...

Those who have read me lately know that the competition has been fierce to choose the soloists that we will sing in the album, but somehow I have managed to get one, and it is this first recommendation, the Aguinaldo Carupanero, although it is really one of the most joyful and popular parrandas of the time. This version is the one I recommend the most, it is about Los Marcano, a family that is a friend of Familia's and where coincidentally they all sing too, from the youngest to the oldest. In fact I recommend the entire album Navidad en Familia, which you can find on Youtube and Spotify.

>Quienes me han leído últimamente saben que la competencia ha estado fuerte para elegir a los solistas que cantaremos en el álbum, pero de alguna manera he conseguido uno, y se trata de esta primera recomendación, el Aguinaldo Carupanero, aunque realmente es una de las parrandas más alegres y populares de la época. Esta versión es la que más recomiendo, se trata de Los Marcano, una familia amiga de Familia y donde casualmente todos cantan también, desde el más pequeño hasta los más mayores. This choral arrangement by Inocente Carreño was my dad's favorite piece of Christmas music, and it was with great joy that I found out a couple of weeks ago that it will be on our album. Our version will be very interesting and heavenly, accompanied by a guitar and a classical harp... The version I recommend you for now is from my favorite Venezuelan Christmas choral music album since I was a kid, and it is the first Christmas album of the Orfeón de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, my choral dream when I was a kid and I didn't know my group existed hehe. Enjoy it...

>Este arreglo coral de Inocente Carreño era la pieza musical navideña preferida de mi papá, y con mucha alegría me enteré hace un par de semanas que irá en nuestro álbum. Nuestra versión será muy interesante y celestial acompañados de una guitarra y un arpa clásica... La versión que les recomiendo por ahora es de mi disco de música coral venezolana navideña preferido desde que era niño, y es el primer álbum navideño del Orfeón de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, mi sueño coral cuando era niño y no sabía que existía mi agrupación jeje. I never understand how it is possible that at my 36 years old I have always missed a hit of any musical genre, and with much regret I tell you that I did not know the Parranda Margariteña, but well, it has come to my life and one of the most joyful songs I've heard regarding the Venezuelan Christmas. I share with you this performance by the friends of the Coral Polifónica Rafael Suárez, one of the most representative choirs of Caracas, and although I don't have an album version to share with you today, I hope it will be ours that I can bring here later.

>Nunca entiendo cómo es posible que a mis 36 años siempre se me ha escapado algún éxito de cualquier género musical, y con mucha pena les cuento que no conocía la Parranda Margariteña, pero bueno, ha llegado a mi vida y una de las canciones más alegres que he escuchado respecto a la navidad venezolana. Les comparto este performance de los amigos de la Coral Polifónica Rafael Suárez, uno de los coros más representativos de Caracas, y aunque no tengo una versión en álbum que compartirles hoy, espero sea la nuestra la que pueda traer aquí más adelante.

In order not to lose the habit of the ñapa I will leave you this other Christmas song of the Marcano Family that we are also recording, although it is another arrangement that we are doing. Here you can listen to the soloist Carola Marcano, the Soprano of the Cantaclaro Quintet and my dad's best friend. Listening to her sing is like remembering my old man and all the beautiful things he left me ❤️

>Para no perder la costumbre de la ñapa les dejaré esta otra canción navideña de la Familia Marcano y que también estamos grabando, aunque es otro arreglo el que hacemos. Aquí pueden escuchar a la solista Carola Marcano, la Soprano del Quinteto Cantaclaro y mejor amiga de mi papá. Escucharla a ella cantar es recordar a mi viejo y todo lo hermoso que me dejó ❤️
