I know I already discussed and made a blog post about it before. But repetition is the mother of learning.

Anyway, what is this Latte Factor all about? I learned it from David Bach after reading one of his books, The Automatic Millionaire.

In that book, the latte factor came from spending money for a cup of latte coffee every day. You will never notice how this simple act will break your saving habit or if you do the math for a month or a year, your expenses from consuming a latte daily will surely shock you. It will add up and show you the total amount of money you've spent on a cup of coffee daily. Instead of putting that money into a savings account or investment vehicle that will earn you more money, you've spent them all gradually and the effect of too much consumption of coffee and sugar will be harmful to your health as well.

Your small expenditures will count too!

This is not only applicable to just a cup of coffee but to every small purchase, you do every day. Be it bottled water, milk tea, frappuccino or anything that you spend your money on.

Yes, it is not noticeable at first but never wonder where your money went. If you track everything you've spent on and you practice budgeting, then you have nothing to worry about. As long as you pay yourself first, then spending your money to relax and treat yourself some time is not a bad idea and will never break your bank account.

Just watch out for your latte factor and as long as you're aware of it, then you're good to go. At least, I inform you about this usual scenario if ever you're not into books and never heard of my favorite author David Bach.

Now you know. Sometimes treating a writer or blogger like me for a cup of coffee is a good thing to do. Just kidding!

I hope you enjoy reading my short but informative blog post. Have a nice day!
