I  have seen programmes of reuniting long loss families and children who have been adopted. 

Growing up when you are ipset with your parents and having to compete with your siblings for your parents attention and affections, it was comforting at times to geel that you were different and may have been adopted into this family.

Looking back it meant that i was in a secure place trying to make sense of my world...

My heart goes out to those families separated adopted...i took mine for granted..however, great appreciation is shown now and i cherish the positive memories.
