Let's get down to business (macro photography)
This afternoon, I was capturing some macro shots with my Canon 80D camera, using a 75 - 300 mm lens when I struck gold! I was able to get a couple "action" shots in focus. Action is in quotations because...you catch my drift.

The first set of photos is as a winged beetle was flying in to greet another beetle. Once it landed on the flower that the other beetle was on, it was...well...on.

The next shot is of two bugs doing what God intended. If you zoom in a little bit, you can see the other bug below the bug on top. I did find the color arrangement of the bugs quite interesting, as the sun reflected off it's back.

The final shot is of a translucent like beetle. I had never seen this type of beetle before. It was almost like the material that makes up the beetle's abdomen is the same type of reflective material you can find on a car windshield reflector. As I moved around the flower, the back of the beetle would change in color.

Every day you can find something new in nature if you are patient and look around. Whether it is a beautiful flower, passing by bird, or in today's case, beetle's in action. Hope you've enjoyed my nature photography.
