## A Familiar Image With a Different Angle. 

New York New York Casino. One of the many MGM owned casinos that line Las Vegas Blvd. This New York themed (as given away by it's name) is often captured in photos from the front side with the Statue of Liberty.  However, the front side is seldom the side that gets the sunset light as it is mostly east-facing. Thankfully, the facade of the buildings wraps around the back, so let's just take a picture of that instead!


## Lighting
The goal of this shot was to work with lighting and capture the colors. Though not as interesting as the front, the facade is still very unique as it is with a dazzling array of color windows and walls where the right light can add additional character to the shot. I thought the lower sun gave a better reflection of the sun allowing the buildings to gain some warmth. The photo wasn't taken too last as there was still a nice blue sky and white clouds to fill in the background. 

### Look Around
When going around taking pictures, don't be afraid to venture away from the popular areas.  Sometimes, consider what it is that you want to capture or what it is that you would want to achieve. It may not always turn out, but it can result in some rewarding photos. In this case, the subject of the photo may not be that unique, but being able to use the early sunset and capture the colors of the buildings was a small feat for this amateur photography (with a smartphone too).
